The Internet Takeover Bill - This IS Real and Already Introduced to Senate!

August 1, 2010 UPDATE!
They are at it again! The Internet Takeover Bill (The Cybersecurity Act of 2009) that was defeated back in 2009 has been re-introduced under a different name. The NEW name of the bill is S. 3480 Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 and the new nickname of this bill is the “Kill Switch Bill”.
Under this new bill the President Would Have the Authority to Shut Down the Internet For 4 Months Under New Emergency Powers!
This bill would hand absolute power to the federal government to close down networks, and block incoming Internet traffic from certain countries under a declared national emergency with the REAL agenda behind the bill being to strangle the access to alternative and independent media outlets which are exposing government atrocities, cover-ups and cronyism like never before.
In 2009 Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) tried to make this nightmare a reality when he introduced S. 773, “The Cybersecurity Act of 2009.”

You see, the illuminati, the group that currently controls world power, of which Jay Rockefeller is a major member of, (see the post about The New World Order to find out more) is seeking sweeping new powers to “shut down” all private internet in the event of a “cybersecurity emergency” — a vague term that the Administration can define at their discretion.
And Rockefeller’s bill would have accomplished just that. Fortunately that particular bill didn’t go anywhere, however, the full House began debating cybersecurity and they’re on track to pass a pared down bill to address the issue.
The pared down bill they’re working on, the Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2009, was introduced in November 2009 by Rep. Daniel Lipinski [D, IL-3] and Rep. Michael McCaul [R, TX-10].
But now they trying to sneak in that same defeated cybersecurity bill under a different name and hoping we don’t notice and that it can sneak its way through congress with better luck this time around.
This “NEW” recycled bill is called S. 3480:

As you know, the Internet has developed into an independent sphere where 1st Amendment Rights can still be (fairly) freely exercised. It’s also become an important outlet for liberty-minded speech, cutting around the corporate censorship of the mainstream media.
Senator Joe Lieberman in particular is really pushing this new “kill switch” bill pretty hard. Lieberman revealed that the plan was to mimic China’s policies of policing the web with censorship and coercion.
China uses rhetoric about the need to maintain “security” and combating cyber warfare by regulating the web, when in reality their entire program is focused around silencing anyone who criticizes the state.
“Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too,” Lieberman told CNN’s Candy Crowley.
Uhhh news flash Joe….we are NOT China and NOT a communist nor an entirely fascist country….yet….although we’re certainly heading in that direction at an accelerated pace.
Americans have not only a constitutional right to free speech but a right to access of information. We don’t have to listen to the government sponsored propaganda in mainstream media and have a right to real news and information that can be found on the internet.
If S. 3480 Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 passes President Obama will be handed the power to shut down the Internet for at least four months without Congressional oversight if the Senate votes for the infamous Internet ‘kill switch’ bill.
This bill has already been approved by a key Senate committee on June 24, 2010 and now moves to the floor so the time to take action opposing this bill and make yourself heard is NOW!

It’s critical to step up and speak out NOW! Send everyone you know the link to this post, WRITE YOUR FEDERAL LEGISLATORS NOW - CLICK HERE and demand that the S. 3480 Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 NOT pass Senate or Congress in any way, shape or form!
Please feel free to copy and paste the letter below or write one of your own:
Dear____________,
Please do NOT co-sponsor, endorse or promote in any way or form this bill S. 3480 Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010. I ask you instead to vehemently oppose it!
Not just voting no on it but make yourself heard loud and clear to senate and congress that you are an American patriot and will defend America by opposing this bill that destroys the rights and basic freedoms of the American people.
S. 3480 Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 at it’s core is really merely about policing the web with censorship and coercion.
This bill would hand absolute power to the federal government to close down networks, and block incoming Internet traffic from certain countries under a declared “national emergency” with the REAL agenda behind the bill being to strangle the access to alternative and independent media outlets which are exposing government atrocities, cover-ups and cronyism like never before.
Americans have not only a constitutional right to free speech but a right to access of information. We don’t have to listen to the government sponsored propaganda in mainstream media and have a right to real news and information that can be found on the internet.
And this bill is really about policing the web so that the only news and information available in a trumped up “national emergency” is the propaganda that the government wants the people to hear and believe.
This is simply wrong.
I am calling on you to OPPOSE the S. 3480 Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010.
Please honor and take your oath to serve the best interest of America and her people seriously and help defend and protect our personal freedom and America’s freedom.

Today, legislation like this — built on the same principles as the infamous Patriot Act has to sneak through Congress quietly. Don’t’ let it happen….SPEAK UP NOW!
They know Americans are no longer willing to swallow this “for our own good” swill.
And it’s especially critical that YOU and other fellow Revolutionaries fight this power grab before it quietly passes and we have no more freedom of information.
I don’t want to see our freedom and liberty extinguished. I hope you don’t either.

Anyone interested in keeping their rights and access to freedom of information will need to actually take some action to fight this bill, because it’s clear that the Internet is the next frontier for liberty politics and your personal freedoms are on the line.
If you do nothing to protect your freedoms and leave it to someone else then you won’t have any freedoms left. Stop looking to someone else to fight this…YOU are the one that has to do this.
When you don’t step up and say no it’s the same thing as saying sure go ahead take away my freedoms. We’re all busy and I’m sure we’re all also tired of fighting bill after bill that keeps getting introduced left and right but please take 10 minutes from your day to stand up for your personal freedom.

You need to take action NOW to make sure they can’t shut down the internet and control what information you get access to.
You need to stay educated and active! TAKE ACTION NOW!!!
We’ve put too much time into building our pro-liberty online networks, websites and email lists. We simply cannot afford to give the federal government the power to dismantle all that at their whim.
leave the internet alone except for porno
Stop the madness, we already have to much government takeover! Vote this bill down. I will not vote for any politician in my state who votes for this! STOP THE MADNESS! I live to be FREE!
There’s one thing I’ll say about comparing scary bills like this to the Patriot Act. Problem -> Reaction -> Solution. Nothing of this magnitude can possibly come out of debate without being stripped of it’s unconstitutionality. Why?
Because there isn’t a problem to take such measure to “protect” the people of the U.S. from.
If you look at the Patriot Act it was intelligently timed and employed, right after 9/11 to “protect” the citizenry.
There must be sufficient danger to the people for senators to feel justified in waiving our rights.
That being fabricated or not. The internet would be a huge hurdle for the power elite to snatch from us. Because even if the major media fabricated the danger the internet is to us we could still sit down and browse our favorite news sites to see the truth.
Unless a direct attack whether false flag or not happens to the internet in the U.S. nothing of this magnitude can happen.
Are you seriously going to tell me some terrorists built a kray 5 computer system in grandpa’s basement in Virginia and hacked the CIA’s database?
I don’t think that would fly…
